Background and Education
Dr. Manago is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He attended San Jose State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics and Philosophy. He later attended Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, graduating with honors.
Many laypeople don’t realize that to become a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) requires six years of study—two at a general college and four at an accredited college of Chiropractic medicine. That’s a total of 4,700 hours of education—400 hours more than is required of an MD! To become licensed additionally requires the chiropractor to pass comprehensive examinations in the state in which he practices.
Not only is Dr. Manago a licensed chiropractor in the State of California, he is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, a member of the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Research, and a member of the American Chiropractic Association. He has been in active practice since 1984.
